This is the final day of my annual ranking of everything Academy Awards. I’ve gone through every single category and placed every film in order of how worthy I felt their nomination was. I had to swallow my pride and give films I didn’t like their dues in these categories, or had to rank films I adore low because of how strong the other candidates in the category may have been. Now, none of that matters. I’m ranking every single film — feature and short — in order. I’m focusing strictly on the films alone. The nominations they garnered have nothing to do with this list.
