The K Cut Episode 8: Cinematic Smorgasbord: February 2021

We’re happy to introduce a brand new series within The K Cut: Cinematic Smorgasbord. Each month, our cohosts will give each other a film to watch (one that the recipient has never seen before, because that wouldn’t be much fun if they’ve seen the film already, right?). These episodes will be the report of our cohosts’ findings: did they like the film they were given, did they hate it, or were they neutral on the whole affair. Cinematic Smorgasbord will take place every first week of each month, so look forward to future episodes!

This first iteration had the following go down:

James got Andreas to watch Neil Jordan’s Mona Lisa.
Andreas got Rachael to watch Terrence Malick’s Days of Heaven.
Rachael got James to watch Michael Curtiz’s Casablanca (well, what other Casablanca is there?).

Check out the results!
